• The Transition Story

As we took over Lyndale Tap House in mid-January, a few things were apparent.

    1. This iconic place needed some love.

    2. We needed a more visible exterior and patio to make it easy to spot us.

    3. A menu change tied to the new Modern Day Smokehouse identity. The menu change is an enhancement to the previous menu, catering to a wider audience. A lot of thought was put in the new menu which takes elements from the previous menu with a modern twist and by bringing in some compelling salads and nibbles n' shares.

    4. A culture which is warm and inviting and reflects the internal and exterior ambience with lovely people - our servers, bartenders and kitchen staff.

The name Hickory n' Hops was coined to reflect Hickory smoked meats and tomatoes and chilies and other produce and Hops reflecting a selective 20+ local crafts on taps from IPA's - hazy or juicy with varied level of bitterness, saisons, sours, lagers, stouts, pilsners and more!

We want you to come try our new menu and check out the bar wall and other changes we are bringing in August as we transition to Hickory n' Hops! We are excited with the new change and direction and we hope you will share our enthusiasm.

    With gratitude,

Chef Doug Tigges, Peter Hall, Rupinder Singh and all of our wait and kitchen staff!
