  • Menu

    The 'Hickory n Hops' menu is inspired by Chef Tigges, his Iowan roots and the richness of time spent together talking about sauces and chutneys and using Lefse as bread of choice for our barbecue. We serve an exemplary coffee, curated local crafts, select wines, craft cocktails, and house-smoked goodness with fresh ingredients and select organic food choices to create our defining barbecue meats, salads and vegetables. 

  • History

    On August 1, 2019, the iconic 'Lyndale Tap House' officially transitioned to "Hickory n' Hops'. This fabulous space was transformed with love, brightening both the interior and exterior. The new menu caters to meat lovers and vegetarians alike, offering traditional barbecue with ribs, sausages and brisket, as well as offering a large selection of options for vegetarians and vegans. The famous brunch now includes items like Monte Cristo, house made sausages, avocado & vegetable scramble.

    We are bringing in lots of live music from our local artists and have a lot of other fun events like our Trivioke night (Trivia at 7:30pm, followed by Karaoke at 10pm every Wednesday.)

    Thursday free salsa class at 7pm followed by social dancing until 2 am

    Every first & third Friday from 5-7pm, Mambo Hour with Charanga Tropical. This event features the rich sounds of Danzón, full of strings and beautiful melodies, and the national dance of Cuba.  $5 cover with drink specials and excellent wine.
